The position of Admin Assistant is a part time position (30 hrs per week). Mondays and Fridays are required workdays and the remainder of hours can be negotiated with the Association Manager. School hours can be accommodated. You will accumulate personal and annual leave at the prescribed rates. The office is closed for 4 weeks from early December to early January – this time can be taken off without pay if annual leave is not used.
The main role of the Admin Assistant is to provide admin support to the Association Manager, Director of Marketing and Grants, Association Development Officer and Association Umpire Development Officer. This role reports to the President and Vice President via the Association Manager. A comprehensive understanding of the game of Netball and its structures is important. A solid knowledge of Microsoft Office and a good level of computer literacy is required. The Admin Assist will be required to adhere to the Association rules as set down in the WDNA Policies and Procedures. The ability to work as an integral part of a small team is essential, as are strong and confident communication skills, both written and oral.
