Netball WA presents seminars and runs programs during year to provide opportunities for officials at all levels to improve their skills and to assist them in achieving their goals. The range of programs for umpires there are the Green Shirt Program, State Umpire Academy, and the Smarter than Smoking WA Netball League; and for Bench Officials there are opportunities at Smarter than Smoking WA Netball League and State based events.

There are opportunities for Officials at Association, Regional, State, National and International levels. Netball WA has a great support network and a number of courses have been established to enhance your knowledge so you can progress through the pathways. NWA Umpire Pathway

For Bench Officials information read the NA Bench Officials Accreditation Framework.

This program aims to provide Associations with the tools and support that enable Green Shirt Program Coordinators to effectively support beginner umpires. This program also aims to create and develop the supportive culture required to make umpiring a valued and attractive pathway to engagement and participation in netball. Alongside the Green Shirt Program, each Association received a Community Umpire Toolkit from Netball Australia to support the implementation of this program and engagement with your participants. This Toolkit provides access to individual interactive education sessions that may be integrated into your Green Shirt Program. To download and for more information visit: Community Umpire Toolkit
