Netball WA is pleased to announce nominations for 2019 Life Membership are now open.
Awarded annually, Life Membership is the highest individual honour currently bestowed by Netball WA, and is the recognition of the significant, sustained and lasting contribution to the sport in Western Australia.

Netball WA Life Members remain very active within the netball community, and play a strong advocacy role across the organisation and State.
Netball WA Chief Executive Officer Simon Taylor urged the West Australian netball community to consider worthy nominees.
“Life Membership is the ultimate accolade we can bestow on any Member for their contribution to netball in Western Australia,” Taylor said.
“I am confident there are a number of worthy individuals within our netball community, so I strongly encourage all Members to consider submitting a nomination for a suitable candidate.”
“The current list of 96 Life Members incorporates names that are synonymous with our game here in the West, and it’s their selfless work that has established the extraordinary foundation upon which netball continues to build.”
To be eligible, the nominee must be a registered financial Member of Netball WA (or a previously registered member if being nominated posthumously), and have demonstrated a high quality of work or service consistently initiated, performed or undertaken for the organisation over the course of a 10-year period.
Nominations are now open here, with submissions to be made by the close of business Friday, 8 February, 2019.
The Netball WA Board will consider nominations and, if appropriate, award Life Membership at the 2019 Annual General Meeting.
