Metro League Wrap: Round 4

Open Division 1

Finishing on top of the ladder once again, both state teams still remain undefeated after another successful weekend. NWA 19U ranking at number one, defeated Perth 70 to 46. NWA 17U had an overwhelming win against Peel with a 42-goal win. Kalamunda & Districts proved too strong for Wanneroo Districts, while Swan Districts record another loss against Fremantle.


Open Division 2

Belmont is looking like the ones to beat as they continue their winning streak after defeating Southern Districts on the weekend. Mandurah Waves and Noranda both recorded wins against Rockingham Districts and Success, respectively, and Joondalup logged their first win for the season with 44 – 40 against Kalamunda & Districts.


18U Division 1 & 2

Perth is still sitting at the top of the ladder after defeating Rockingham Districts, 55 – 28. Noranda proved too strong for Mandurah Waves with a 19-goal win, whilst Wanneroo Districts moved up a rank, cementing 3rd place on the ladder after a 7-goal victory to Fremantle. Geraldton Waves had an overwhelming 63-goal win against Swan Districts and a whopping 48-goal win against Joondalup which moved them to top of the ladder, whilst Southern Districts recorded a win over Kalamunda & Districts.


16U Division 1

Kalamunda & Districts continue their winning streak after a game against Rockingham Districts ending in a 23-goal win. It was a close game between Perth and Wanneroo Districts, although Perth proved too strong with a 3-goal win. Fremantle and Success both recorded wins against Southern Districts and Swan Districts, respectively.


16U Division 2

Fremantle, Noranda and Mandurah Waves all still remain undefeated with victories against Success, Perth and Bunbury, respectively, whilst Joondalup has recorded their first win for the season with a 30-goal win against Belmont.


14U Division 1

Wanneroo Districts and Fremantle are still undefeated after wins against Perth and Southern Districts, respectively. Kalamunda & Districts had a whopping win over Rockingham Districts with a 23-goal win.


14U Division 2

Fremantle and Noranda continue their undefeated streak, recording wins against Success and Perth, respectively. Joondalup proved too strong for Belmont and Swan Districts had a 9-goal win against Mandurah Waves.
