Fever in Time Program (FIT)
The FIT Program launched in 2011 is a High Performance training program that provides the best opportunities for young players to develop and maximise their abilities in netball. FIT is a program where professionalism and high standards of skills, tactics and physical competency are the major focus, ensuring the best environment for the development of the participants. Netball WA runs the program with the aim of developing targeted athletes and to bring success to WA at the National Netball Championships.
The FIT Program which sits within Netball WAs player development pathway and runs from October – December is the selection platform for Netball WAs 17U & 19U State Teams. FIT participants train 3 times a week with a combination of strength and conditioning, on court training programs and match play.
Upon selection into the FIT Progam participants will receive a full training calendar.
Selection into the FIT program is through the 17U & 19U Fever in Time – State Academy Phase Trials.
