General Manager – People & Culture

Netball WA’s has a new strategic plan with a focus on People & Culture which has created an exciting new opportunity to join our team.  Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer the General Manager – People & Culture will lead the establishment and delivery of newly developed People & Culture strategies for our business. As part of the executive team this role will have a key focus on supporting the Executive and Leadership group of Netball WA and its subsidiaries, West Coast Fever and Glass Jar Australia, to implement people and culture goals and strategies along with identifying tools that assist us to imbed and demonstrate our agreed values and behaviours.  In addition the General Manager – People & Culture will play an operational HR role through the coordination and oversight of other HR functions including, but not limited to, recruitment, performance and OH&S obligations.

We are looking for an experienced HR professional with excellent problem solving and analytical skills.  Strong communication, negotiation and relationship building skills are critical to success in this role.  Netball WA will be looking to have the successful applicant commence in the role in late January 2018.

Executive Assistant
With the launch of the new Suncorp Super Netball League in 2017, and the introduction of Fast 5 Netball, Australia’s most popular women’s sport is set to enjoy an unprecedented level of interest and exposure. To support this Netball WA is looking to grow our team in 2018, with the role of Executive Assistant.

The primary focus of the Executive Assistant role will be to provide high level administrative and operational support to our CEO, the Executive Group and Boards. We are looking for someone with demonstrated experience at this level along with excellent communication and time management skills. Please note that we will be looking to have the successful candidate commence in January 2018.

The Shooting Stars Program is looking for four passionate individuals with experience working in the areas of youth, not-for-profit and/or community development with strong communication skills along with commitment to advancing Indigenous participation in sport and school attendance to join our team in 2018. The Program Coordinator is responsible for the development, coordination and delivery of the Shooting Stars program at the local District High School. Experience working in rural and remote areas will be highly regarded and Indigenous applicants are encouraged to apply.
