The Australian Netball League (ANL) was introduced alongside the Suncorp Super Netball to provide a national pathway for players, coaches, umpires, score bench and technical officials. Western Australia is represented in the ANL by the Western Sting who provide WA’s netball fans with the chance to see the best young talent in action. For the players, the ANL is an opportunity to test their skills in a competition that bridges the gap between State League competition and the elite arena of the Suncorp Super Netball.
History & Participation
The ANL was launched in 2008 with 13 teams including a team from Singapore. 2017 will see 8 teams from around Australia participating.
